FAQs

When should I book?

I would suggest to enquire as soon as you know your wedding date so that I can check my availability for you and secure your wedding date in my diary with a deposit. A trial run can then be arranged nearer the time of your wedding when more details are confirmed .

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit of £50-£100 is required to secure the date of your wedding. This is deducted from the total cost on the day.

Do you charge for travel?

Yes, fees vary based on the distance and location of your get ready location. Please include the location of your booking in your email when contacting me so that I can get back to you with an accurate quote.

I can travel anywhere you need me so please don't assume that you live too far for me to travel to you, don't hesitate to inquire. :)

What's the whole process, from initial enquiry to wedding day?

We have an initial email exchange to discuss the date, location, and bridal party size.

A deposit is paid to secure the date in my diary. We’ll then book in a trial - I encourage my brides to create and share Pinterest board, or to send over images and ideas showing their vision for the big day.

We’ll meet on the agreed date for the trial to try out your desired styles. If the trial is a success, then final details are confirmed.

Approx. 2 weeks prior to your wedding day, I will send a timeline and instructions on how to prep your hair.

On the wedding day I’ll arrive promptly with a big smile and set up. We’ll recreate your perfect hairstyle I’ll be on hand to help with securing the veil and can stick around until you leave.

What does a trial entail?

I suggest to book your trial in at least 6-8 weeks before your wedding day, or once you have decided on your dress if you wish to have it sooner.

Prior to your trial, you can send me a picture your current hair and the hair style(s) you desire - I'll be able to advise if the style is doable.

At the trial, we can will discuss and try of the style you wish and take pictures of each, so you can take home and admire.

If possible, please bring along your veil or any other hair accessories that you plan to wear on the day. If there are several options you’re considering, bring along pictures of them and we can discuss the pros and cons of each together to help you make a decision.

Trials are approx. 2 - 2.5 hours and can take place at my place (Sidcup), or I your place (travel cost may occur).

Do you have booking terms & conditions?

Yes - click here to see T&Cs.

How do I prepare my hair for the wedding day?

It's best to wash your hair the night before, or the morning of the wedding. Avoid using heavy conditioners or styling products and do not put in a messy bun. Clean, dry hair holds styles better.
After your trial and consultation, I will advise best hair prep bespoke to your hair and desired style.

It typically takes 1-2 hours for the bride's hairstyle, depending on the your natural hair and desired hairstyle.
Bridesmaids and other members of the bridal party usually take 45 minutes each.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancellation and rescheduling policies will be outlined in your contract. I strive to accommodate changes, but please notify me as soon as possible.

I have more Qs...

Please do get in touch and ask away! I'd be more than happy to answer any queries you may have!
